Web Developer

HeliumStudio, located in Richmond, VA, is looking for a talented web designer/developer to join our team. We are a small shop with a wide variety of clients in a wide variety of industries. If you have an exceptional passion for designing and developing beautiful and functional websites, we want to meet you.

You are qualified if you have:

+ An understanding of the importance of typography and color choices, and the ability to transpose designs into code
+ Advanced Photoshop, Advanced HTML, CSS, Javascript skills
+ Familiarity with web standards and best practices
+ Experience with CMS environments (WordPress, OpenCart, or custom-built solutions)
+ Mad skills using JavaScript libraries (jQuery, MooTools, etc.)
+ A strong working knowledge developing for cross platform/browser compatibility
+ 2 years or more of experience in front-end web development

You are preferred if you have:

+ A kick-butt portfolio
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ A thirst to learn new technologies
+ The ability to work independently or with a team
+ A passion for web design and truly enjoy doing it
